So handsome in design and well made, is this vintage enameled frog or toad novelty brooch, with butternut coloring and turquoise eyes, circa 1950s/60s.

The unsigned amphibian is solidly cast, with polished goldplated base and matte enameled surface in a soft butter yellow glaze.  It also has textured goldplated feet, a polished gold stripe along the back, and turquoise colored cabs for the eye.

The pin measures approximately 1&5/8 wide at its widest point, by 1&3/4 inches in length and weighs 25.4 grams.
