"Hugo's Pen" is a mixed medium brooch of copper, sterling silver, 24k gold and satin fabric that combines techniques of cloisonné, photo transfer and shibori.  Layers of visual and tactile subtleties run across the different planes of the lapis blue branch, and the matte enamel portrait and the shibori bubbles. 

The brooch dimensions are 3" X 1.5" and has a double pin clasp.
