Beautiful lighter toned Hessonite Garnet chip beads on an entire 35" strand. These chips are quite fine and roughly 4-7mm wide.

There are many different types of garnet with similar physical properties and crystal forms, but they differ in chemical composition. The different types referred to as species include almandine, spessartine and grossular (varieties of which are hessonite and tsavorite) amongst others.
