I doubt there could be a more perfect hue for autumn then the green of Grossular Garnet. This is a rarer form of Garnet. They are shaded, in that there are a range of colours on a strand from light to dark. They are hand faceted. Some inclusions.

They measure 16x14mm to 18x14mm in size approximately. When buying individually you will be chosen beads from the range of colours.

There are many different types of garnet with similar physical properties and crystal forms, but they differ in chemical composition. The different types referred to as species include almandine, spessartine and grossular (varieties of which are hessonite and tsavorite) amongst others.
