This fabulous Sterling Silver double clip brooch is from the Art Deco period, Circa 1930.
Art Deco represents the style of the decorative arts popular between the two wars. The style was huge in the 1920’s and produced glamorous, colourful jewellery pieces that incapsulated the famously flamboyant period.
The wonderful brooch is decorated with sparkling white Paste Stones all round.
Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. White Pastes sparkle just like Diamonds and take expert craftsmanship to capture their beauty.
The piece can be worn as a brooch or comes apart at the back forming two lovely clips that fasten securely.
The piece is all set in Sterling Silver and fitted with a sturdy pin and safety catch.
This is a unique Art Deco piece that looks fabulous when worn, a great collectors item!
